Recruitment and hiring are challenges for any company.  Everyone wants the best people for the job and it seems like prospective job searchers are often torn between choosing from more than one offer.  Sometimes it even seems like companies fight for bright new employees like kids on the playground picking dodgeball teams.

Google announced an interesting and beneficial partnership with Teach For America that alleviates the problem for prospective Google employees.

Under the partnership, new college grads who want to join TFA and Google can defer their Google job offer for two years while they take part in the Teach For America program.  This way people are able to get the best of both worlds:  an awesome learning experience from TFA and a rewarding career from Google… all without the indecision and turmoil of picking between the two.  Partnerships like this are a great idea for any company to consider.  If you find yourself having to compete for employees, something like this could work for you, too.

Any marketing strategy has to include the way you pitch your company or organization to potential employees.  And while the marketing department might not have a big hand in hiring and recruitment, it might not be a bad idea to get some ideas from your marketing team on how best to solicit and snatch up the best people for your company.

Partnering with programs like TFA are a great way to solidify the deal and make your company stand out from the pack.
