If you use the new Google Custom Search and have noticed a large amount of white space at the bottom of your results page, you'll be happy to know that Google has officially fixed the problem.  As reported on the Google Custom Search blog, the new version of the Custom Search code incorporates the fix.  If you experience problems with the new version, a single line of code provided at the site will revert you to the old version.
