Social networking is one of the "Web 2.0" trends that we've talked about in the past a few times, right? People love to interact online and social networking is probably the epitome of online interactivity. In fact, according to new comScore reports, MySpace, the king of social networking, knocked Yahoo out of its long-held position as the website with the most page views in November. The scores, as reported by bigmouthmedia, show MySpace's page views growing to 39.5 million at the same time that Yahoo's dropped to 38 million. While the folks over at MySpace are probably celebrating, Yahoo doesn't seem to be bothered by the announcement. Yahoo fully expected the implementation of AJAX across much of its site to lower the number of page views it receives credit for. In addition, Yahoo is still king of unique visitors, with almost 130 million in November. Yahoo's press coverage has been anything but stellar lately. Watching a relative newcomer blaze up from behind and steal your throne must sting a little. With the big changes going on in the Yahoo management structure and the launch of its brand spanking new search marketing service today, we might be on the verge of some positive changes for the search company.
