A lot of AdSense users awoke to a pleasant surprise yesterday. The interface that helps track and manage AdSense accounts received some attention from Google in order to make the service more user friendly. The main changes involve tracking the money your account has accumulated so that you can more easily tell when a check will be issued. Google has separated payments and earnings so it's much more apparent when checks are issued. You'll also notice "details" links that will give you more information on either the payment or the earning transaction associated with it. Finally, a new monthly balance column totals earnings and payments for the entire month and displays your monthly ending balance. If the balance is over $100, you can expect a check from Google. All in all, the new changes are very welcomed. It's easier to see what's going on with your account because everything is separated out and easily readable.
