Search Engine Land has a quick post on UTube.com's efforts to take advantage of traffic it gets that should go to YouTube.  While we all know that YouTube is video sharing website, UTube specializes in tube mills, pipe mills, and rollforming machines.  According to UTube.com, they receive over 70,000 visitors a day that are trying to find YouTube.

To capitalize on the misdirected traffic, UTube has added a search box to the top of its website that displays sponsored links designed to look like video clips.  Personally, I think it's a great way to turn "a problem" into money.  Sure… 70,000 visitors a day aren't interested in the product the company offers.  But they've found a way to make something that could be a potential waste of bandwidth into a money-making venture.
