MarketingSherpa, one of my favorite marketing websites, is soliciting quotes and "mini-stories" about test results or marketing campaign lessons learned in 2006.  Each January Sherpa publishes a paper called "Marketing Wisdom from the Field" containing success stories from companies across the globe.  As I said earlier, these real-world examples and lessons from other companies are some of the best ways to improve your own marketing efforts.

The report will be sent out to 237,000 MarketingSherpa readers and can contain your name and a hotlink to your website.  Anonymous submissions are also accepted.  The length is up to you and the announcement from Sherpa has a few more suggestions for good mini-stories:

o The story of a test campaign that worked better (or worse) than expected.

o What you learned — from real-life experience — about
specific tactics, such as email, search, tracking metrics properly, etc.

o Career stories — from hiring to budgeting to dealing with office politics.

The deadline to submit your story is December 31.
