Last week Nielsen//NetRatings released the November 2006 U.S. search engine usage rankings.  I've updated the Search Engine Summary with each search engine's search market share percentages, but also of note:

  • While still in the top 3 for the time being, MSN/Windows Live continues to not only loose share, but is also the only search engine in the top 5 spots to see negative growth year-to-year.
  • Ask.com was the growth leader of November, with 33% year-to-year growth.  Google followed with 31% while Yahoo brought up the rear of the top 3 spots with 27% growth.
  • Google and Yahoo continue to dominate the market with a combined market share of almost 75%.

Visit the Search Engine Summary for the full list of market share percentages.
