Search Engine Land has an interesting bit of search engine celebrity gossip to share.  According to Stuff.co.nz, a jet suspected to be the Google 747 was spotted landing at Christchurch Airport in New Zealand yesterday.  The airport, when contacted by New Zealand press, said that they had signed confidentiality agreements that forbid them from discussing the passengers or purpose of the airplane.  The numbers on the tail of the plane that normally would be used to identify it had been blocked as well.  Sneaky!

Oooo… don't you just love gossip?

Now the real question:  are the Google co-founders, who bought the jet, using it for business or pleasure? Hmmm…
