ClickZ is reporting on some details from Microsoft's recently released financial information for the quarter that just ended. While overall revenues for the quarter were up 6%, the company's search rankings fell. Although the company said they weren't happy about falling search volume, they were able to report a 20% increase in search revenue for the quarter. Microsoft says they're taking the long term approach to search. Looking from a quarter-by-quarter perspective, the software giant says it expects to meet search revenue numbers from a year ago by the end of this year.
