WordPress Plugins

WordPress is a wonderful platform for blogging and comes with a host of features right out of the box. But to really customize your blog and take advantage of the full power the WordPress platform offers, you’ll probably have to put a few plugins to work. Plugins extend the default abilities of WordPress and add features for both your readers and yourself.

We use WordPress to power the Internet Marketing Monitor. As a sort of “thank you”, we’ve developed the following plugins that all WordPress users are free to use on their own blogs.

IMM-Glossary
V 2.1.1
The IMM-Glossary plugin allows you to create a customized glossary of terms. The plugin creates a master glossary page, links to terms within posts, and creates individual pages for each entry. It also gives you the option of attaching a custom icon (pictured) to linked terms.

IMM-Keywords
V 1.0
The IMM-Keywords plugin allows you to add keyword meta tags to each of your posts and pages. The plug-in adds a small field to the WordPress Writer Post / Page admin that lets you specify post-specific keywords. It also allows you set “default” keywords that are used on special pages and pages without pre-existing keywords.

IMM-Meta Tags V 1.0 The IMM-Meta tags plugin allows you to add just about every available meta tag to each of your posts and pages. The plug-in adds a small field to the WordPress Writer Post / Page admin that lets you specify post-specific keywords, descriptions, and author. It also allows you set “default” values for all other meta tags and defaults for use on special pages and pages without pre-existing tags.
